Privacy Policy

Effective September 4, 2026

Official language. This English version is the legally controlling version. Portuguese and Spanish versions are courtesy translations to help users understand this Policy; if there is any conflict or difference, the English version prevails.

This Privacy Policy explains how Drop Angle collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when organizers and guests use our websites, event pages, organizer dashboard, photo upload tools, downloads, and related services.

1. Our role

For organizer account information, service operations, security, billing, and support, Drop Angle determines how personal information is processed. For photos, videos, messages, event details, and content collected for an event, the organizer generally decides why it is collected and how it will be used, and Drop Angle processes it to provide the service.

2. Information we collect

We collect organizer account information; event names, dates, welcome messages, colors, cover photos, plan status, usage, and settings; support messages; billing or transaction information if paid services are purchased; guest photos, videos, filenames, file sizes, file types, technical metadata, upload status, thumbnails, ZIP files, event links, QR codes, public session identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, logs, request identifiers, cookies, and local storage needed for the service.

Drop Angle does not currently use facial recognition or create biometric identifiers from event photos.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; operate event pages, QR codes, uploads, thumbnails, galleries, downloads, and ZIPs; enforce plan limits, storage quotas, upload windows, access periods, and retention deadlines; process files; troubleshoot and improve the service; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; send service, security, account, expiration, and transaction notices; process payments when available; and comply with law.

4. Legal bases

Where a legal basis is required, we process information to perform our contract with organizers, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, and obtain consent when required.

5. Disclosure

Uploaded event content is available to the organizer and authorized users of that organizer account. We may disclose information to service providers, for legal and safety reasons, during a business transaction, or with consent. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use event photos for advertising profiles.

6. Public and organizer-controlled access

Anyone with an active event link or QR code may be able to open the guest page and upload content unless additional restrictions apply. Organizers are responsible for deciding where and with whom event links are shared.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage necessary for login, public upload sessions, security, preferences, and reliable operation. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies on event upload pages.

8. Retention and deletion

Retention depends on the plan and the exact dates shown in the organizer dashboard. Free events accept uploads from 1 day before the event date through 7 days after, with organizer access until 14 days after. Premium events accept uploads after activation through 90 days after the event date, with organizer access until 12 months after. After access ends, content enters a 30-day recovery window before permanent deletion, and Drop Angle sends notice when access ends and again 7 days before permanent deletion. Deleted content cannot be recovered. Drop Angle is not a substitute for personal backup.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, password hashing, secure cookies, request validation, rate limits, signed URLs, storage permissions, logging redaction, file validation, and transactional quotas. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Drop Angle is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create organizer accounts. Events may include images of children; organizers are responsible for required permission and appropriate sharing.

11. Privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, appeal, or withdrawal of consent. Organizers can manage event content and settings in the dashboard. Guests should usually contact the organizer first about a specific event photo, and may also contact Drop Angle.

12. U.S. state privacy notices

Residents of some U.S. states may have additional privacy rights. Drop Angle does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising as those terms are commonly defined by state privacy laws.

13. International users

Drop Angle is operated from the United States. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate.

14. Third-party links and services

Third-party websites, payment providers, and infrastructure services are governed by their own policies.

15. Changes

We may update this Policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change, and will post the revised Policy with a new effective date.
