DROP ANGLE

Terms of Use

Effective September 4, 2026

Official language. This English version is the legally controlling version. Portuguese and Spanish versions are courtesy translations to help users understand these Terms; if there is any conflict or difference, the English version prevails.

These Terms govern access to and use of Drop Angle, including websites, event pages, organizer dashboard, photo upload tools, downloads, and related services. By creating an account, creating or activating an event, uploading content, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who may use Drop Angle

You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract to create an organizer account or purchase a plan. Guests may upload content only when invited or authorized by an organizer.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity through your account except for activity caused by a security failure attributable to Drop Angle.

3. The service

Drop Angle lets organizers create event pages and QR codes so invited guests can upload supported media without guest accounts. Features, formats, limits, access periods, and retention depend on the active plan and are displayed in the service.

4. Organizer responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for using the service only for events they manage; giving guests appropriate notice; obtaining required permissions or consents; protecting event links when needed; downloading content before retention deadlines; and responding to guest requests about event content.

5. Guest responsibilities

Guests may upload only content they own or are authorized to share. By uploading, guests understand the organizer can access, download, retain, and use that content subject to the organizer's notices and applicable law.

6. Content license

You retain ownership of submitted content. You grant Drop Angle a limited, nonexclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, process, resize, generate thumbnails or ZIPs, transmit, display within the event experience, and delete content solely to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

7. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use Drop Angle for illegal, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, exploitative, infringing, malicious, unauthorized-surveillance, venue-rule-violating, or unlawful content. You may not bypass security, evade limits, automate abusive uploads, interfere with others, resell without permission, or build a competing dataset or product.

8. Events involving children

Drop Angle is not directed to children under 13. If an event involves children, the organizer is responsible for parental or guardian permission where required and for deciding whether collection or sharing is appropriate.

9. Plans and paid services

Each event has its own Free or Premium plan. Each account is eligible for one lifetime Free event. Additional events require a separate Premium purchase. Draft events can be created without limit, but uploads, QR codes, and guest links activate only when an event is placed on a plan.

10. Storage, retention, and deletion

Free events accept guest uploads starting 1 day before the event date through 7 days after, with organizer access and download available until 14 days after the event date. Premium events accept guest uploads immediately after activation through 90 days after the event date, with organizer access and download available until 12 months after the event date. For both plans, once access ends, content enters a 30-day recovery window before permanent deletion, with notice sent when access ends and again 7 days before permanent deletion. Deleted content is not recoverable. Drop Angle is not a permanent archive or backup service.

11. Moderation and enforcement

We may investigate reports, restrict access, remove content, suspend accounts or events, preserve records, or report conduct when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or prevent harm.

12. Copyright complaints

Send copyright complaints to support@dropangle.com with contact information, identification of the work, the event or content at issue, and required good-faith and accuracy statements.

13. Drop Angle intellectual property

Drop Angle software, branding, designs, text, graphics, and features are owned by Drop Angle or licensors. These Terms grant a limited, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

14. Third-party services

The service may rely on third-party hosting, storage, payment, email, analytics, security, and infrastructure providers, which may have separate terms.

15. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve, modify, limit, or discontinue features.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drop Angle is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or noninfringement.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drop Angle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, photos, or business opportunities. Total liability will not exceed the greater of what you paid for the event giving rise to the claim or USD $100, except where prohibited by law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Drop Angle harmless from third-party claims arising from your content, event, violation of these Terms, violation of another person's rights, or use of downloaded content. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Drop Angle's own unlawful conduct.

19. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, risk or harm, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Provisions that should survive termination will survive.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Georgia law. Except for small claims and intellectual property disputes, disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Class, consolidated, and representative actions are waived. You may opt out within 30 days by emailing support@dropangle.com. If you opt out, or if this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and each party consents to their jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires another forum.

21. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.

22. General

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. Assignment requires consent except for business transactions. These Terms and plan-specific terms form the entire agreement.
